There is a cost involved with obtaining a Catholic high school education. St. Raymond's endeavors to keep the tuition affordable for inner-city, working class families. Our tuition is actually discounted by $1,500 for all families because of the contributed services of the Christian Brothers, the support of St. Raymond Church, and the efforts of our Development Office. Still, some families struggle to make their tuition payments. St. Raymond HS for Boys is affiliated with the following scholarships: 1. Student Sponsor Partners: This independent program accepts applications from 8th grade boys only from late December until early January. For an application and further information, please visit www.sspnyc.org 2. Be A Student Friend: These scholarships carry over from elementary school to high school. For further information, please visit www.innercitysf.org. 3. Cardinal's Scholarship Fund: These scholarships carry over from elementary school to high school. For further information, please visit www.scholarshipfund.org. 4. Academic Scholarships: These scholarships are given based upon perfornance on the TACHS exam. Students must maintain an 85% average and remain as a student in good standing in order to keep these awards for four years. 5. Financial Aid: Limited financial aid is awarded to qualified students in grades 10, 11, and 12. Applications are available on line beginning in January. Dr. Nicholas Daniello, '66, Alumni Association Scholarships: Please check the announcements for information about these scholarships. The process begins in May each year. 7. Damian Meehan, '87, Scholars: Scholarship applications are made available in April and applications are due by the beginning of May. Announcements of the winners are made in June, and awards are presented at the school's annual Thanksgiving Mass.
